In conjunction with Cottimore Design, Identity has worked with Everest for ten years, helping them to develop a hugely successful exhibition programme and creating a high profile presence, at major home improvement and lifestyle events, throughout the UK.

As headline sponsors of the show, Everest had to have a striking stand that would display the company's diverse product range in the best light possible. The concept that was developed, was a stand that was effectively a house as well as a secondary stand, to show off further products.

Building it

The stand pre-build for the Ideal Home Show required detailed planning. The build phase in the workshop was very carefully timed, to ensure that we had enough time to deal with any issues that came up during this process. Then, once all the components were completed, they were loaded straight on to the trucks for delivery to the exhibition halls.

After 11 days of building, the stand was handed over to the client, on time, on spec and on budget. The show itself, was open for 2 weeks and during this time we provided back up for Everest, should any problems arise. At the end of the show, the stand took only 36 hours to clear, with the clients product display assets being carefully removed for future use.


The exhibition was a huge success for the team at Everest and they were delighted with the stand, which gave them the opportunity to show their products, in a realistic home-based environment.

Success has been indicated not only by winning awards for the stand at the Ideal Home Exhibition, Grand Designs Live and RHS Chelsea Flower Show, but also by the substantial sales revenue generated at the shows. We are happy to say, the formula for success has been extended to additional projects, with Identity providing sets for a number of photo shoots, and most recently an in-store concession area within a major UK DIY chain.
