Two stands for Zurich at BIBA


The British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA), is the UK's leading general insurance organisation. Identity has a long and successful relationship with BIBA and has built a number of stands for their annual conference and exhibition. For BIBA, Identity built and installed two stands for internationally renowned insurance company Zurich, on behalf of Bellman Media. Identity worked closely with Bellman, to turn their initial concepts and ideas into reality.

The main stand was 96m² stand space, open all sides. The design included four zones, depicted by 4 metre high columns with large hanging rings, complete with coloured lighting and branding. Each zone had a colour coded bench and 60" portrait screen. At the centre of the stand was a fully equipped bar and refreshment area.

Both stands featured a fully integrated sound system that was wirelessly linked between them, enabling the main stand to hear what was going on in the 'BrokerMind' area, and to ensure both stands featured the right staff numbers at all times.

Identity’s many years experience of producing stands for exhibitors at BIBA, was very much in evidence during this project. We were able to make constructive, practical suggestions to enhance design concepts, resulting in a satisfied client and another highly successful exhibition.

Media Stand

Zurich’s second stand, which was dubbed their ‘media’ stand was 48m², open all sides and was divided into two sections. The first section, which faced the main entrance, was designed to house, display and distribute the promotional delegate packs that Zurich were giving out to every visitor to the show.

The back of the stand, which faced Zurich’s main stand, was designed to house and display their specially commissioned 'BrokerMind' interactive game, for visitors to the stand to take part in.

This area of the stand was equipped with gameplay equipment and a number of screens, to display constantly, updating real time leaderboards to ensure maximum competitiveness and visitor engagement. Both stands featured overhead branding, ensuring maximum visibility from all angles.

The design of the stand was very effectively translated into the final result with the intelligent use of AV to bring life to the stand which drew visitors on to the stand.
